I am deeply committed to promoting social equity and making a positive difference in our society. Carbon projects and other nature-based solutions play a vital role in conservation efforts, providing essential access to clean water, and the opportunity to grow food sustainably. They also support education programs for communities that help people secure a better future for themselves and their families, thus ensuring enduring commitment and engagement in programs that promote environmental stewardship.
One of the biggest advantages of my background is that it has given me the ability to work well with others. As a hospitality professional, I had the opportunity to manage large diverse teams, and as a carbon project marketing and communications director, I worked closely with stakeholders from different backgrounds and cultures. This experience has allowed me to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
I have also been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in several countries across our beautiful planet including; South Africa, the United Kingdom, the USA, Thailand, France and Germany.

Carbon project experience
As part of the management team at InfiniteEARTH, I spent nearly seven years marketing and communicating about one of the most renowned REDD+ carbon projects in the world. The Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve became the first REDD+ Project to be verified under the Verra SD VISta Standard as contributing to all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The project was also recognized as a "Lighthouse Project" by the Natural Climate Solutions Alliance and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, highlighting its status as one of the world's highest-quality carbon projects.
Throughout my career in carbon project development, I've gained extensive experience implementing and communicating about community development initiatives that include education, providing access to clean energy and water, healthcare services, funding micro-enterprises, and developing community farms for improved food security. As a team, we worked to restore ecosystems through activities such as tree planting and mangrove restoration, leveraging the knowledge of indigenous communities.
As a Carbon Offset and Green Energy Services Marketing Manager with ClimatePartner, I've synthesized technical reports for a non-technical audience and created marketing materials that highlight the benefits of carbon projects and community development initiatives. I've also expanded my knowledge of carbon project technologies, including cookstoves, bamboo planting, and green energy.

I also enjoy the experience of travel and have sailed across much of the world's oceans, with a focus on capturing moments of purity.
